Child Behaviour

  • Closing one eye or turning or tilting to see things.
  • Squinting to see things in the distance.
  • Consistently holding objects close to the face or sitting very close to the TV (most Children do this sometimes)
  • Frequently blinking or rubbing one eye.
  • Running into objects or falling down at night or in places that are dimly lit.

What is Wandering Eye ?

Sometimes a child’s eyes do not work together as they should. One eye may be ‘lazy’, or wander in or out, or up or down (strabismus). In such a case, the brain receives a different image from each eye. The brain may switch back and forth between the two images, or it may turn off the weaker image.

Dr. Dedhia and his team’s selfless investment of their time and efforts soon delivered the fruitful results of happy patients with contented smiles. Within a span of 5 years, the response from the patients elevated Ojas to one of the most reliable and trusted for various advanced eye treatments. In order to reach out to larger numbers of patients, Dr. Dedhia set up the second branch of Ojas at Opera House, in the heart of Mumbai city. The number of satisfied patients grew by leaps and bounds. There was no turning back. In time, to cater to the increasing needs of patients, and to accommodate modern machines and equipment Ojas Eye Hospital relocated to a bigger space at Roseland Building, 180 Water field Road Bandra (W).
Today the center has a team of 45 doctors, assistants and administrative staff and operates from Bandra and Kandivali. Both the centers have advanced medical equipment imported from Japan, Germany and the USA. Ojas Eye Hospital is host to super speciality clinics dedicated to Refractive Surgery, Cataract, Oculoplasty, Contact Lens, Retina, Paediatric Ophthalmology, Squint, Glaucoma, and Cornea.
